The plot revolves around a plan to take down Le Chiffre, an agent of SMERSH, by bankrupting him in a high-stakes game of Baccarat Chemin-de-fer. Sent to a French casino in Royale-les-Eaux, Bond aims to eliminate the threat of the deadly Le Chiffre by bankrupting the ruthless. Casino Royale is the first novel written by Ian Fleming featuring the 00 agent Commander James Bond, published in 1953. Nolan does not take orders from anyone, not even His Majesty. Ian Flemings literary debut of British Secret Service agent 007 is stylishly adapted to the sequential art medium by Van Jensen and Denis Calero in the official James Bond: Casino Royal graphic novel. (Personally, I do not see that happening. The 33-year-old star who appeared in Kick-Ass, Godzilla and, briefly, the second Avengers film (as Pietro Maximoff, the mutant known as Quicksilver.) He also has a small part in Christopher Nolan's Tenet which is a nice touch for those who think the Oppenheimer director will one day take over the 007 franchise. Nipping on Norton's heels, however, is Aaron Taylor-Johnson with 28.6%. No, this doesn't make him too recognizable outside of the United Kingdom, but Daniel Craig was similarly buzzing beneath the surface when he got the nod for Casino Royale, too. The 38-year-old actor is likely best known for the series Happy Valley, Grantchester and an episode of Black Mirror. Now, if you are scratching your head thinking "James Norton, didn't I once buy a book by him at an airport?" you are confused. The OLBG's latest ranking put James Norton in the lead as the most likely candidate with a 30.8% probability.
